A Reader in History is required in the University

of Hong Kong to commence duty in the coming Autumn

session.

The University Authorities have furnished the

attached document for the information of prospective

candidates.

Applications should be submitted in covers marked

"C.A. #1 to the Secretary, Board of Education, Whitehall Scottish candidates should apply to the Secretary, London, S.W.1.7 Scottish Education Department,

Whitehall, London, S.W.1. The list of applicants

will dose on 8th June, 1931.

A general account of Hong Kong will be found in

the Dominions Office and Colonial Office List, published

by Messrs. Waterlow and Sons Ltd., which can be consulted

at most public libraries.
